Venue and travel

TaLC 11 will take place on the main campus of Lancaster University.

We are holding the conference in the George Fox complex – incidentally the same building that hosted TaLC 1 back in 1994!

The University is situated a short distance to the south of the historic city of Lancaster. Lancaster is easily accessed by road or rail. The nearest major airport is Manchester (MAN).

An important note for anyone planning to travel by car: due to the "Race for Life" charity event, the main campus will be closed to all traffic on Sunday 20th July between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. If you arrive on that date, please park on the South West campus; the conference venue is approximately 10-15 minutes on foot from there.
