The MELC project has appeared in the following media:

• August 2014: Veronika Koller appeared on New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR) in the "Word of Mouth" programme.
• June 2014: Elena Semino's BBC World Service interview was reported in The Vancouver Sun article "Owning our Health: The search for a new narrative on health".
• May 2014: Elena Semino appeared on the BBC World Service's Health Check programme talking about the 'battle' against cancer.

• December 2014: Our research was mentioned in a Time magazine article on How Calling Cancer a 'Fight' or 'Battle' Can Harm Patients
• January 2015: Mosaic Science published by the Wellcome Trust covered our research in articles about the language of bad news and breaking bad news.
• March 2015: Elena Semino wrote a piece about the MELC project research in the Conversation.
• April 2016: Our BMJ paper was mentioned in an article in the Huffington Post.
• May 2016: Our work on metaphors and cancer is reported in a Swedish newspaper. This is linked to the Swedish project that is the twin of our ESRC-funded project in Lancaster.
