Venue and travel

SALA-31 will take place on the main campus of Lancaster University, and at the adjacent Conference Centre of the Lancaster House Hotel.

The University is situated a short distance to the south of the historic city of Lancaster. Lancaster is easily accessed by road or rail. The nearest major airport is Manchester (MAN).

On-campus accommodation will be available to participants who desire it. Information on this will be made available when we open registration in winter.

Other accommodation options: There are a range of hotels within easy travelling distance of the university.

• The closest hotel to the Lancaster campus is the Lancaster House Hotel, directly adjacent to the conference centre where the SALA sessions will be held.
